MR. RAJASINGGAM A/L MANICKAM,A.M.P.

Former President of Sri Dewa Kaliamman Temple, Bukit Larut, Taiping,Perak
1999 Until 2009

Mr. Rajasinggam is a former president of the temple which has held the presidency of the year 1999 to 2009 (10 years). He was born in Taiping, Perak on 5th January 1954.

He was also active in the Malaysian Indian Congres political party (M.I.C.) and currently serves as Taiping,M.I.C.Division Chief. He also was honored to be a Counselor at the Taiping Municipal Council.

Mr. Rajasinggam has devote a lot of time, energy and money for the development of the temple. He also has established close relationship with top leaders of the M.I.C. Central Working Committee and managed to get financial assistance from the government allocation for upgrading work and improvement of temple building. He has managed to complete the full ritual ceremony of 'Maha Kumbahabishegam'(consecration) in 2005 with great success.

The temple now has all the basic facilities that is comfortable for devotees to do all the hindu religious worship. Even though he has withdraw from the Temple Management Committee, he is still actively help temple committee to obtain financial assistance from the government through the political party Malaysian Indian Congres (M.I.C.).

The Temple Management Committee thank to him and his family for their contributions and services for the betterment of the temple. Hopefully, all the effort and concern he will be blessed by the Sri Maha Kaliamman to stay healthy and success.
